Life Lately - March

I love March. We have spring break, my birthday & this year, Easter! Thankfully we had a warmer start to spring so far with lots of rain so it has been enjoyable outside & everything is green & ready to bloom. Bring it on spring!

Sophie started the month at the Fast Pacs warehouse again volunteering with Kate:

Love that she has a heart for serving! She also had a friend spend the night & they baked home made donuts, with the Sophie touch - she decorated them with spring icing & added a jelly bean on top:

Both of the girls got spring haircuts before cotillion & Easter. I actually scheduled them early the morning of cotillion so they would fix their hair for the event:

If I only had a picture of me bending over in my dress trying to paint Sadie's toes while she was getting her hair done!

Sadie's been super busy. She is still playing soccer, even with a cast on. She has to wear a cast protector, not for her, but the other girls! It is big & bulky, but that hasn't slowed her down. They just played in the Dallas International Cup & she actually got her first yellow card. Ha!

Unfortunately, I don't get to eat lunch with her anymore, but a friend happened to be up there at lunch & sent me a picture:

She LOVES KLife & they had a fun night out with a silent chicken dance. What is that you ask? It was basically a silent disco with an unlimited chicken nugget bar. She thought it was one of the best nights of her life!

She missed a lot of birthday parties in elementary school but for some reason they have worked out with her soccer schedule this year & she has had way more time to spend with her friends:

Speaking of birthdays, we celebrated mine this month also:

The girls surprised me with a Kendra Scott soccer necklace & a new pair of running shoes. That's me - total soccer mom! Bryan surprised me with a peanut butter, banana, chocolate chip df/gf cupcake & it was delicious! My girlfriends surprised me with a night out - we went to dinner downtown at The Henry:

Then we had a suite at the Madonna concert!

I'm not a huge Madonna fan, but she's been around since I was born so of course I know all of her big hits! Plus her concert was on my actual birthday & we had free tickets, so how could you turn that down? We danced all night & had the best time. So thankful to this group of women for spoiling on my special day:
