Thanksgiving in Conroe 2020

This year was supposed to be our year with Bryan's family but we had a change in plans & since we were by ourselves, we decided to drive to Conroe at the last minute & spend the Thanksgiving holiday with my parents. It felt so great to get out of town for a few days! You know we can't go on a road trip without stopping to see Buccee:

The weather was perfect while we were there so the girls played outside a lot. My Dad & Bryan took the girls shopping & bought them a set of golf clubs so they went to Top Golf to try them out:

We didn't leave the house much. We mostly hung out, visited & ate a lot of good food! On Thanksgiving day, Bryan ran his annual Turkey Trot while the girls tagged along:

My mom braided hair, like she always does:

Sophie sat the table for our Thanksgiving feast:

We enjoyed a wonderful meal & time spent together:

When we came home the following weekend, we drove over to visit Bryan's parents. They had been in quarantine all week so we had a socially distant meal outside in their garage! It was also Grammy's birthday so we celebrated with her:

Hopefully everyone will stay healthy since we have a lot to celebrate this month. We have 2 birthdays & Christmas to look forward to!
