Well friends, I cannot believe this week is Thanksgiving. It seems like we just started back to school & here we are 3 months later & we are already on fall break & just officially finished all of our fall activities. I remember when every weekend it was hot & we were running from football to soccer with these 2 girls:
Sophie literally had an 8:00 football gave every Saturday morning & then we would have her soccer game or Sadie's soccer game. She would cheer at Sadie's games also:
We actually played 8 straight weeks of soccer with the Twinkle Toes, which is unheard of! We usually have a rainout or two during the season but these girls ended on a high note:
Since we are still being careful these days, we kept our end of the season party simple & just passed out trophies & had a snack after our last game. Same with cheer - we celebrated at our last practice of the season:
Sadie finished her fall season also but her team never slows down. She had a tournament this past weekend & we started the weekend hot:
But a cold front blew in over the night so they looked like this the next day:

Finally, it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas around here! I feel like most of our neighborhood started decorating early this year, inside & outside so we jumped the gun also. Why not - it's 2020 & we all need a little extra joy around here!
And speaking of Christmas.... Sophie got invited to her first Christmas birthday party already! Everyone is getting creative these days trying to host everything outside. Her friend, Allison threw her party in her backyard where they decorated gingerbread houses:
Not only did they get to take their gingerbread house home, but they also came home with these adorable Christmas aprons:
We are ready for Christmas but guess we will slow down a bit so we can enjoy Thanksgiving first!
