Life Lately

Time for another photo dump! Every now & then I look at my phone & think where did all these random pictures come from?! So it's time to share & we will start with Sophie. She got invited to her first late over at Kate's house. They made home made pizza, baked unicorn sugar cookies & played pin the bow on Jojo:

She had such a fun night & she didn't come home until 10:00!

A few nights later, Sadie had Hadley over for a sleepover & it was bitter sweet because they have been best friends since she started school but Hadley's family is moving this week :( These 2 are definitely going to miss each other:

They even played their last basketball game together last week:

Not only will Sadie miss her, but Bryan will miss having her on our team as well!

Besides late overs & sleepovers with friends, the girls still love having slumber parties together. They built a fort last week & we let them sleep in there one night:

The girls got packages in the mail one afternoon so that was a fun surprise:

Goodies for Sky Ranch camp!

We also went to our new favorite Tropical Smoothie Café for free smoothies:

We have swam a lot. We've had friends over a few times:

And the girls got invited to 3 different pool parties last week:

And lots of swim team. We took the week off from swim team during VBS so last week we practiced every day:

They had their annual fundraiser:

The coaches take a break & they ask parents to volunteer at a lane while the swimmers swim. Basically the swimmers swim for an entire hour to see how many laps they can swim while they raise money for each lap. I monitored a lap with the girls & a few of their friends & to be honest, Sadie killed it! She takes competition very seriously & she swam 80 laps, which is 1 1/4 mile. You can kind of see her in this picture in the background:

Sophie on the other hand, had a good time playing. Ha! She would swim a lap occasionally but mostly she had fun splashing around, doing flips & pretending to be a mermaid:

All of that swim practice paid off because they had a swim meet this past weekend & they both did great! Not only did they have fun, but they both shaved time off of their swims. And both of them have already qualified to swim at the regional swim meet later in July:

Sophie even swam her first relay & she had so much fun with these girls:

All of the grandparents were even there to see the girls in action. This week we are taking a break from swim again because they are both at camp. You know what that means - a child free week for me! I will post more on that in the next few days :)
