Pumpkin Unloading

We have a church by our house that creates a pumpkin patch every fall. I never really thought about how the pumpkins get there, we just enjoy visiting & looking at them every time we drive by. Until this year. We learned through Girl Scouts that they have 3 deliveries during October to replenish their pumpkin stock & they are always looking for volunteers to help unload that pumpkins, so this year, her girl scout troop decided to help. Only a few of them could make it but the little siblings chipped in also to help:

There were only a few of us but we met up with some other daisies & brownies:

Sadie's friend Hadley came with us & afterwards, I let them choose a pumpkin to take home:

It was a muddy mess out there but at least it was one of the rare days where we had sun! I have a feeling we will have to volunteer again next year :)
