Well, our last 3 weekends have been productive, but not necessarily fun. We had 1 open weekend between basketball & soccer so we decided to take the opportunity to go look at cars. Then the past 2 weekends, all outdoor soccer in Frisco was cancelled. We have had so much rain the past few weeks that the fields were flooded. So that left us 2 more weekends to go look at cars again. 3 weekends in a row looking at cars. No exactly fun, but I think we have finally finished our search. Our poor girls were troopers letting us drag them around. Some times they entertained themselves, some places had Ipads for them to play on & then finally we hit the jackpot. We found a car dealership that had a fenced in playset:
Genius! Once they were comfortable, we were able to go inside & talk cars without their distraction while safely watching them through the window. Why doesn't every car dealership have this?!
I hate that soccer hasn't started yet, but we have enjoyed sleeping in the last few Saturdays! And hopefully it will be warmer later in the season when we finally make up those games.
Besides cars, we did have a little fun. Sophie got invited to a birthday party on Friday:
Instead of cakes or cupcakes, they had birthday donuts that Sophie obviously loved:
Bryan was out of town & Sadie was a little jealous that she didn't get to go to the party while she was at school, so we surprised her & took her to Sweet Frog to get frozen yogurt after school:
And when we got home, we spent the afternoon playing outside with neighbors:
We had awesome weather on Friday & Saturday but Sunday it cooled off & rained again. Sadie & I went to girl scouts while Bryan stayed home with Sophie. She was so proud to show us what she built when we got home:
You probably can't tell from the picture but she said she built a train & that's what all the animals/babies are sitting in.
Hopefully next weekend we will finally have our first soccer game of the season!
