Spring Break in Frisco 2018

The first half of spring break we stayed in town because of soccer. We wanted to do a few fun things with the girls since we weren't really going anywhere so we tried to think of something different we haven't done with them yet so we took them to:

It's one of those fancy bowling alleys which also has a restaurant, laser tag, bumper cars, ropes course, games, etc. Bryan went here for work a while ago (I'm talking way over a year ago) & he randomly found cards that had over 1,000 tickets & about 75 credits still on them. So we basically got to play for almost 2 hours for free! We originally thought we would bowl, but the girls just wanted to play games:

We usually don't like to waste our money on this stuff but since it was free, why not?! Sadie was too short for most of the other activities but she was able to do bumper cars with Bryan:

Afterwards they had 1,600 tickets to redeem which is just crazy. We have never had that many before so the girls had a hard time choosing what they wanted. Eventually they both got a squishy toy & this octopus hat/stuffed animal:

The tentacles hang down & they light up and Sadie is obsessed. It was a fun night & a fun way to kick off spring break!

On Monday & Tuesday, Sadie's soccer coach hired an ex professional soccer player who now coaches club soccer to run a skills camp for their team:

They played outside for 1 1/2 hours both days & it was awesome weather. Plus they got some good personal instruction on soccer skills, which most of them have never really had. Kenzie went with us both days & the girls were a little power couple while they were there:

The Sweet Cleats have been together for 3 years now, 6 seasons total & are getting closer to figuring out what direction they are going to go in. Will they stay together? Will they stay in a recreational league or is it getting time to move them to a more competitive league? Will any of them move on to one of the soccer clubs? Who knows what will happen but they play well together & love it so I'm curious to see what lies ahead in the next year or so.

Besides soccer, we spent some time spring cleaning our closets & spring shopping. We are definitely ready for spring & summer at our house & the time change couldn't have come at a better time so we can spend more time outdoors. After camp on Tuesday, we headed down to Conroe to visit my parents & enjoy the rest of our spring break.
