On Sunday, the Texas Legends hosted a free basketball clinic for anyone who was signed up to play for the winter season so Sadie went with a few of her team mates:
They were a little nervous at first since they were there with a lot of older kids, but by the end they were having fun & it was good practice:
They also had team practice this week so they are getting ready for their first game next week! It may be comical watching a bunch of 5 & 6 year old girls play basketball for the first time on a 8 foot goal, but at least they are cute:
After the clinic, they gave everyone free tickets to one of their games over the Thanksgiving holiday. We have been taking the girls since they were born & we hadn't been yet this season so Sadie was so excited to go. We had extra tickets so we invited some of our older friends who have kids home from college:
Of course the girls have fun watching the game & eating, but they really love playing down on the court:
That's one of the things I love about Frisco - I love that we can attend a professional soccer, basketball or baseball game just minutes from our house. It really is fun for the whole family!
