Weekend Wrap Up

What a busy weekend. Seriously, I am tired just thinking about typing about our weekend. Friday was Relay for Life & I went up there early to help set up & of course we stayed out pretty late also. I took a ton of pictures so you'll have to wait for a separate post about that but here is a sneak peak:

Even though we stayed out late, we still had to get up early for a soccer game the next morning:

Technically their final game was supposed to be the weekend before, but we had 1 rain out so this was a make up game. I am proud to say that the Sweet Cleats went the entire season undefeated! We are so proud of the girls, specifically Sadie. She honestly loves this game which makes me an official soccer mom:

Saturday was election day & it was a big one. It was probably the most involved we have ever been with campaigns & it has kept us (mostly Bryan) busy. After soccer, we went to one polling location to drop off lunch & drinks & then we went to another one to help out for a couple of hours:

Do you see that little girl in the middle? Even Sadie & Sophie helped out with the election:

Saturday was the hottest day we have had this spring & the girls got bored at the polls after a while, so we bribed them with snow cones afterwards:

We had a babysitter that night so we hit up a couple of election parties while the votes were announced & if you can't tell from these pictures, the candidates we endorsed won!!!

All of our hard work paid off & we couldn't be happier for the families involved.

Next stop, Off the Rails Country Music Festival. It is a 2 day festival in Frisco that went all day but we just stopped by for the closing act:

Miranda Lambert! We met up with friends & had a great time celebrating that night:

Since it was 88 degrees outside over the weekend, we decided to spend the day with the girls outside & somehow we got talked into swimming in the pool even though the water was only 75 degrees:

We have gotten in the hot tub a few times but this was our first official swim of the summer :) It was too cold to leisurely stroll in, so we had to just jump! I love these pictures of Sadie & I with our synchronized jump:

We had another babysitter coming over Sunday night so we could go back to the music festival & when I got out of the shower, I found Sophie like this:

She went the whole weekend without a nap & I guess swimming finally tired her out. That night we saw Dierks Bentley & Jason Aldean:

Sunday night was much better than Saturday night in my opinion & we saw a ton of friends out there:

Such a fun weekend, but both of us were tired when we woke up this morning. Here's to a slower week at home!
