Colorado Cousins

Last week the girls were so excited to see their Colorado cousins! Since they live so far away, we don't get to see them nearly as often as we would like. Unfortunately, since our spring break was the week before, they were pretty busy with school & all of their extra curricular activities starting up again but Sadie was beyond excited when they showed up at her soccer game last Tuesday night:

I didn't get a picture of everyone but I got all of the girl cheerleaders in our family! Afterwards we went to Double Dip & grabbed a quick dinner & ice cream:

Braxton & Sadie had so much fun running around & playing outside. It was a quick night but it meant the world to Sadie since her cousins came all the way from Colorado to watch her play :)

On Friday, we cleared our plans so we could spend the entire day with them. We drove over that morning & took the big kids to the movies to see Beauty & the Beast. I could write a whole different post about that because I loved it! Sophie & Whitney stayed home & played with Grandpa because we thought they were too young for it.

We spent the rest of the afternoon at Robert & Sherry's house & I took my time holding & loving on the newest grandchild, Penny:

She was born in December but it was the first time we had gotten to meet her. I knew everyone else would want to see her that night so I held her as long as I could! Well, technically I had to share her with these 2 little girls:

We haven't really been around a lot of babies (I think we are technically past the baby stage these days with most of our family & friends) so this was the first time either girl got to hold a real baby & they were so excited! We spent the rest of the afternoon playing & visiting:

Even though we don't see them often, the kids do a great job of just picking back up where they left off. It really helps that Sadie & Braxton are close in age and so are Sophie & Whitney.

Later that night, all of Bryan's family came over to see Tim, Jessica & the kids and we celebrated all of the birthdays in March, which are a lot when you have a big family. Sweet Penny got all of the attention since no one had met her before!

Some how I got pictures of the guys, but none of the girls:

And we finally got a picture of Grammy & Grandpa with all 6 of their grandchildren:

We had such a great time spending the day with them before they had to head home. I love watching all of the cousins play together & we were so thankful to finally meet Penny! Can't wait to see you all again this summer!
