Both of the girls had fall festivals at school yesterday & they got to dress up in their costumes. I let Sadie wear part of her costume but not all of it because we wanted to have some element of surprise on Halloween night. I didn't trust Sophie with her costume because I figured she would spill lunch or tear it on the playground, so she got to pick out one of our princess dresses at home. Unfortunately, we still don't get invited to Sophie's events because they are too young, but I got to attend part of Sadie's celebrations.
First, their class went outside for a petting zoo:
And then they had carnival games set up:
Apparently there were bounce houses, snacks & other surprises throughout the day, but these are the only 2 things the parents were invited to. But I always have fun getting to watch her in action & meet her new friends:
Hopefully next year I will get to join Sophie's class when she finally moves up to Sonshine Academy & it will be a whole new ball game for Sadie since she will be in kindergarten!
