It's official - fall soccer has started so I know what we will be doing for the next 10 Saturdays! Sadie had her first game on Saturday & it was beautiful weather. The girls did awesome & it's amazing to think how good they have gotten since they first started this time last year. I have no idea what the final score was, but it must have been close because both teams scored a lot. Our team had 5 different girls score which is awesome instead of 1 girl scoring all 5! Even Sadie scored a goal! I happened to catch a picture as she stole the ball & dribbled down to our goal:
All of the girls really hustled, no one cried or got hurt & they even passed the ball to each other. They are actually looking like a team:
For some reason Sadie really wanted to play goalie & technically they only play 4 on 4 without a goalie, but she kept running down there & protecting the net:
We are so thankful Coach Jeremy came back. 6 of the girls have been together for 3 seasons now so not only are they good friends, but they are really learning how to play together which makes it more fun:

And she has the best cheerleaders on the sidelines, including her sister:
I think it's going to be a fun season with the Sweet Cleats!
