Now that we are busier with our fall schedule, I haven't taken as many pictures of the girls. They have stayed pretty busy with school, soccer, gymnastics, etc. & when they are not doing a scheduled activity, we have spent a lot of time outside. Unfortunately it is still hot out there, but I know it will be cold before we know it so we are trying to enjoy the warm weather while we can!
I did take a few pictures at gymnastics this week. Sadie started this time last fall & has really improved. She has been promoted to 3 different classes & they have asked her to go twice a week. Apparently they see something in her & she enjoys it. I would totally let her go twice a week, if it was free! If she told me she wanted to do gymnastics only, then we would seriously consider it, but since she still wants to play soccer, than she has to stay where she it at.
She was pretty excited 2 of her friends from soccer started taking gymnastics at the same day & time she does:
That's Anna Grace & Grayson. They are in the same class, but Sadie is in a different one. There are multiple classes going on at the same time & most of them are recreational with larger class size, but Sadie is in a more competitive class preparing them for team. There are only 3 girls in her class & her class looks serious:
The other classes look like they are having more fun but Sadie's class looks boring & hard to me! They are always working on their core, doing push ups, climbing the rope, doing the plank, practicing their stretching, etc. Seriously, it's like a mini boot camp! She must enjoy it because all of the other kids are playing games in the fun classes while they have to stand at attention & walk with their hands behind their backs at all times:
Don't get me wrong, they are still spending time on the balance beam, trampoline & uneven bars. I am really proud of her commitment & dedication to the sport, I'm just curious to see what she will choose in the future. I keep telling her that she won't have time for everything when she starts kindergarten so she'll have to choose!
