Since Sadie was at camp this week, I tried to plan a couple of fun things for Sophie also. Jamie & I took turns with the girls so one of us would have a quiet morning to ourselves. We met at camp on Monday morning & she took Sophie home with her. It was so cute seeing the girls getting in her car together - Sophie was so excited! She said they mostly played inside all morning & she sent a couple of pictures:
On Tuesday, it was my turn. I took them home from camp:
and we made one quick stop at Home Depot to pick something up:
They were having so much fun driving their car, I ended up staying a little longer & just walking them around. Finally, we went home & Sophie was so proud to play in her room with her friend:
They had a tea party, played with their baby dolls - all sorts of girly stuff! At one point I had to ask them to leave Sadie's room because they were messing up her room & I don't think Sadie would have liked it! I think that was a first :)
Eventually we ended up outside because they wanted to swing. Sophie had a major melt down though because they both wanted the pink baby swing & I let Hayden go first since she was our guest:
Yep, that is Sophie throwing a temper tantrum. Life is hard when you have to share! Eventually they took turns on all the swings & life was happy again:
The next day, Sophie had her last day at My Gym camp:
Doesn't she look so big sitting there with her back pack? I can't believe how much she has grown & matured this summer! She really loved going to camp. First of all, I think she really enjoyed being at My Gym because it is a fun place, but most of all, I think she thought it was special getting to do something by herself. I will miss having a morning to myself now that summer camp is over, but guess it won't be long since school starts in a few weeks!
