Between my phone & Bryan's phone, I found a lot of pictures to photo dump this week! Last Friday Jamie & I took the kids to Studio Movie Grill for the first time:
My girls have only been to a regular movie theater so when I explained to her that it was basically a movie theater with a restaurant inside, she was thrilled:
After reviewing the menu, they both chose pizza & couldn't have been happier:
Lunch wasn't cheap but they had a $1 movie we had never seen so at least it only cost $3 for 2 hours worth of entertainment. Which was totally worth it since it poured all day:
Saturday morning Kenzie had a birthday party but her mom was taking her to get her nails painted & she invited Sadie:
Such a special treat! Afterwards we headed to her party & Sadie was excited because it was big kids only. Sorry Sophie!
Later that afternoon Bryan took Sadie to the Frisco Lakes Tennis Academy for a charity tennis tournament they were hosting:
Apparently Sadie had a blast & wants to play tennis now! Last I heard, they raised $23,000 & all of the proceeds go to Relay for Life of Frisco!
Bryan had convocation last week for all of the employees in FISD & they got to host it at the STAR, I don't know how Bryan does it but he got to give a 5 minute speech & I think he said there were over 7,000 people there!
The first day of school for Frisco was last Monday & Sadie was so disappointed she didn't get to go to Kindergarten. She is ready! Instead, we waited at home for everyone to come home that afternoon. Since it was hot this summer & people travel, we haven't seen our neighbors on a regular basis, but I'm hoping we will now that everyone is back on schedule. Unfortunately, the first day of school it rained but that didn't stop the kids from playing outside:
I feel like we had cool weather & rain for a week so we didn't get to swim much & the girls spent a little more time inside watching movies:
Thankfully this week it cleared up & warmed up & we have lived outside the past 2 days:
Bryan was in Montana all week for work, but he got to spend some extra time with them last weekend before he headed out. He took Sophie shopping:
and more importantly, he took the girls to vote with him:
We have a big election coming up tomorrow so I hope we are celebrating tomorrow night!
