Water

Sadie is obsessed with water. She loves drinking water & she asks for more all the time. We give her milk for breakfast & dinner, but other than that she keeps a sippy cup with water in it all day. I think she likes drinking water because that is what Bryan & I drink most of the time. She also loves water in the bath tub or in the pool. I would say it is probably in the top 5 words that she mentions the most every day so it was only appropriate that at her swimming graduation ceremony yesterday they gave her a water bottle:

 

 

Obviously it wasn't a real graduation ceremony or anything fancy, but the winter session ended yesterday & they always do a good job of making every kid feel important so she got a ribbon & a "prize", which was the Emler Swim School water bottle with their colors & logo on it:

 

 

Who knew an empty water bottle could be so exciting? Bryan did put a little water in it, but she always makes a mess with it (good thing there was only water in there.....) so the rest of the day she got to carry it around empty & she was still happy.

 

 

You can't tell from the picture because she was too busy drinking her pretend water to smile, but she had an awesome day at swim lessons. Since yesterday was a holiday, Bryan got to go watch her swim & for some reason none of the other kids showed up, so she got a private lesson. Technically yesterday was her last class for the winter session, but we have already enrolled her in the spring session so we'll keep going every Monday morning until it warms up outside & I can start taking her myself. Although I am a little nervous about how I will do at the pool with both of them by myself.......
