Our Local Celebrity

Saturday was a busy day. After we left the grand opening of Hope Park, we went to the grand opening of Phillips Creek Ranch, which is a new neighborhood here in Frisco. The event was catered (we had some delicious BBQ from a new restaurant in town!) and they had tons of activities for the kids. Bounce houses, petting zoo, face painting, etc. Bryan spotted one of his favorite treats & he tried to share with Sadie:

 

I should write a disclaimer that it was incredibly windy this day & we were standing right on the top of a hill right by some water, so it was even windier. Bryan was trying to share his cotton candy with Sadie but it practically blew away while he was holding it! She did grab it for a minute, but realized she didn't like the texture, so she threw it down :) It was quite funny while all of this was going on & then I realized that there was this strange man taking pictures of her. Come to find out, he was a reporter for the Dallas Morning News & he asked if he could use a picture for his article. Of course we said yes! So here is the link to her big newspaper debut:

Is she adorable or what? Even with her wind blown hair, I think she is too cute :) Of course I could be a little biased......
