A few weeks ago I blogged about the construction of Hope Park & this past weekend was the official grand opening & ribbon cutting ceremony!
It looks amazing - by far the best park in Frisco! It is also separated in to different sections by age group, which is even better! The toddler park is adorable - they even created a few mini pieces of Frisco's downtown including a few of our favorites:
We are regulars at both :)
The ceremony started with a butterfly release:
It was pretty neat watching all of the butterflies fly away, except for a few of them. Some kind of hung around where we were standing & Sadie didn't know what to think of them. I think she was afraid!
After the park was open, we took off to explore the new territory with Sadie leading the way. She thoroughly enjoyed playing & testing every piece of equipment out there!
Including, the big slide for big kids!
Sadie loves to slide, but this was the first time we sent her down the big one in the dark by herself!
We had a great time enjoying the park & I look forward to many more trips here in our future, especially once the Clayton Crew comes to visit in a few weeks!
