Those who know me probably know that I am not really a fan of fast food restaurants. Mostly because I am a cheap skate & prefer to eat at home & save money, but also, I tend to eat healthier when I eat at home. Not that I eat that healthy, but healthier than fried food :)
Obviously my habits have rubbed off on my daughter as well. We eat lunch at home every day & she doesn't know the difference! But on our way home from Lubbock, she got a very special treat - her first happy meal at McDonald's!
Even though I am not a huge fan of fast food restaurants on a regular occurence, I do see the need for them when you are traveling & don't want to waste time sitting down at a restaurant. She ate her meal in the car & devoured all 4 chicken nuggets & every french fry in that bag! Of course I had to document this occassion since she is 15 months old & just now had her first fast food meal. We'll see how long the streak lasts - her Dad has a love of fast food, Whataburger in particular, so I have a feeling he may be sneaking her up there whenever he has her!
