The Big Orange Pumpkin Farm 2012

I have been so excited for this time of year because there are so many things I want to do with Sadie as the holidays approach. One of them was to take her to the pumpkin patch for the first time. We met some of the other Moms from our MOPS group with their children at The Big Orange Pumpkin Farm in Celina. Apparently, this is one of the best in our area.

As soon as we got there I had Sadie pose in the pumpkins:
We also saw a petting zoo with sheep, goats, cows, horses, etc. She was so excited just being pushed around in her stroller & getting to see everything. They gave us animal food but I was afraid to give it to Sadie because she probably would have put it in her mouth instead of the animals! But her friend Olivia was brave enough:
And one of those goats really liked Sadie, even though she didn't have food. She practically jumped through the fence & licked Sadie's stroller:
There was a hay maze that we strolled through & lots of hay bales everywhere that were decorated:
And of course we walked through the pumpkin fields & got to pick our very own pumpkin!

And the best part of the day was the hay ride. Sadie loved the wind blowing in her face!

And our friends enjoyed it as well. This is Bethany & her daughter, Olivia:

And this is Amy & her son Garrett. She also has a 10 week old who was with us but he isn't in the picture:

Of course we tried to get pictures of all the kids together, but Olivia was not happy. Apparently, it was past her nap time!

As usual, we had a fabulous day hanging out with friends & going some where new. And to think this is only the beginning. I am sure there will be many more pictures of her with pumpkins to come!
