As I'm sure you have already heard, it was an exciting weekend for Texas fans! The Longhorns came to town to play the Big XII Championship football game against Oklahoma State on Saturday morning at AT&T stadium in Arlington & you better believe Bryan & I were there:
We left the girls at home this time because they had activities but we enjoyed a date with some friends without them. We even met up with another one of Bryan's fraternity brothers - Joel came into town:
He literally flew in & out for the game so we only met up with him briefly at halftime. Yep, I missed the half time performance with Nelly because we went to meet him.
The game was phenomenal! It was a beating actually, kind of like the week before. I mean the 1st quarter was the best - they pulled out trick plays we hadn't seen before! Check out these stats at the end of the game - no wonder we won!
We had the best time & could not wait to go home & watch the rest of the games to see how things would shake up over the weekend. Bryan had a good feeling we would make the top 4 so he went ahead & booked hotels & flights Saturday night even though they didn't make any announcements until Sunday. Thank goodness he did because New Orleans here we come!
