Last night we officially kicked off school with meet the teacher at our elementary school. Earlier in the day, Sadie went to Gator Camp where they had a pep rally, walked their schedule, met their teachers, etc. but of course I was so in the moment I have 0 pictures to share. But later that evening, she went with us to meet Sophie's new teacher:
She was beyond excited to have a returning teacher who was actually teacher of the year last year! To top it off, she has a ton of friends in her class, including a few of her besties:
Let's see how long they actually get to sit by each other. Ha! Several of her friends' siblings are in this class also so it was fun to see all of them together again & they had fun seeing all of their old teachers:
Sophie gets to switch teachers this year so her homeroom teacher is Mrs. Martin & then she switches to Ms. Schmidt:
After we dropped off her supplies & met her teachers, we headed to the spirit store where we ran into Sadie, again, with her friends:
then we shopped for new gear. This was the first time in 7 years they offered dri-fit instead of cotton shirts & Sophie was all over it! She was so excited she started wearing it right then! Of course she is obsessed with hats like I am so she talked me into a new Pink hat also:
They don't have meet the teacher for middle school for a few weeks, so that's kind of weird but at least she got to meet them at Gator Camp yesterday.
