5th Grade End of Year Party at School

Keeping in order of our week, on Thursday, the day before the kids got out of school, we had the 5th grade party. In the past they have always gone to Pinstack but the teachers asked us to do something different this year. They wanted something low key where all 128 kids could just be together so we planned a party at the school from 9:00 - 4:00. It was a long, hot day, but I think they had fun! We surprised all of the students with tshirts for their middle school so we took one big group picture to kick off their day:

I got Sadie's shirt a little big so it would last her longer so she didn't want to wear it at the party all day:

Most of the kids ran straight to the foam pit:

That was definitely the hit of the party! Even a few teachers got in there! We also had a water obstacle course:

We had gaga ball, badminton, volleyball, 4 square, football, soccer, corn hole, sidewalk chalk, hula hoops - anything you can think of to keep that many kids entertained all day! We even had a chill area in the shade with arts, crafts & bracelet making:

We even had a dj that kept spinning music all day & entertained the kids with difference dances:

At lunchtime we had pizza delivered & most of the kids set up in the shade on the play ground to take a break. We had to order Sadie a gf pizza lunch from the school since she can't eat at most traditional pizza chains anymore:

We ended the day with a snow cone truck:

Like I said, it was a long, hot day, especially for the volunteers. I am one of the room moms so I was literally there from 8:00 - 3:00 but I have heard a ton of positive feedback from kids & parents so guess moving the party back to the school was a hit!
