Every fall our school participates in walk to school day & then we have bike to school day in the spring. We met last week to walk & it was the perfect morning to meet up with friends:
It's always a party when we get to school - they had the middle school & high school cheerleaders there cheering them on for walking:
Of course all of the friends were there, they had music, sidewalk chalk & several drawings for new bikes:
I always love that our school encourages healthy habits but also that we live close enough where we actually can walk or ride our bikes on any given day:
It's these little things I am going to miss when Sadie moves on to middle school next year - not sure she is going to want me to walk with her anymore?!
