Friends - tomorrow is Halloween & we are ready! My mom sent the girls a Halloween package in the mail with nail wraps so we had fun doing their Halloween manicures:
So cute & they have lasted all week! Sadie also worked on a ghost for the library. They came home with a paper ghost that they were supposed to decorate like one of their favorite book characters. That was an easy choice for her:

The girls officially got booed last week so we returned the favor & booed one of Sophie's friends:
Last week we had beautiful weather & I enjoyed a day in downtown McKinney shopping & eating with my girlfriends:
I also went to lunch with some 1st grade moms the week before:
Can you tell we have been enjoying having our kids back in school?!
Last weekend my sister came to visit so Sadie was pumped to have her cousins watch her soccer game:
And with beautiful weather comes lots of play time outside at school:
We just ended the first 9 weeks & when we started the 2nd 9 weeks, we had students transfer from virtual back to face to face so we got a new class picture of Sadie & her friends:

A boy in her class missed school & missed the spelling test so they let her take him in a separate room & give it to him. She was SO excited to help - she wants to be a teacher so bad!
After all that beautiful weather, a cold front blew in. Sports went on like normal but we had to bundle up, which is weird for October:
Finally, they let parents come to eat lunch with kids this week:
No siblings, no grandparents or anyone else is welcome, only parents & they had us at a table by ourselves. Only 2 families allowed at a time so since this was our first time back in the cafeteria, we both got to go & surprise her:
Unfortunately you can only go to 1 lunch per week, so we get to surprise Sophie next week!
