Back to School, Again!

The girls started school virtually but after 3 weeks, they finally got to return face to face last Thursday!

 

Our school gave you the choice to either go to Virtual Academy or back to school Face to Face. We survived the 3 weeks virtually but these 2 were so excited to go back to school in person again:

There are a lot of different things this year & I won't begin to go into details but one of the biggest is families aren't allowed on campus. If you are a car rider you go through car lane like normal, but if you are a walker like we are, you have to stop at one of four walking points & let the kids cross at the crosswalk by themselves or with a teacher. Thank goodness we have always walked from the same crosswalk with the same crossing guard. The girls were so excited to see Mrs. Nancy:

I'll be honest, I wasn't sad or worried to drop them off at all! We have all been together for the past 6 months & we all need a break. It feels so good to get back on a schedule again, even if we are doing it wtih a mask on these days! Even the teachers were excited to have them back on campus & they shared pictures throughout the day:

Bryan & I went to breakfast & enjoyed a simple date alone before we went on with the rest of our day:

We are so thankful for all of the staff at our school for working so hard to open the doors again. I pray that we have a smooth & successful school year!
