You would think I would have nothing to write about since we are stuck at home these days, but Bryan just found all of these awesome soccer pictures from Sadie's team. She had a spring kick off tournament the end of January & apparently there was a photographer there. Anyway, I hadn't gotten any really good shots of her since she joined the Renegades so I was pretty excited to see these & they were too good not to share:
You can tell it was cold because the girls have layers on in most of the pictures! It also shows how small Sadie is in some of these pictures compared to some of the girls she is playing against. Remember, she is on a 2011 team & she was born in December 2011 so she is the baby of the group. Most of the girls are in an older grade.
Looks like he also caught some silly moments with her team after the game also:
We are so thankful we found this team & her coach! We have seen great improvement since she joined last August & she loves it. Her coach has really kept them motivated while we are stuck at home also. They still have a 1 hour team practice twice a week with Coach T - a fitness practice & a skills practice. Then they are responsible for running 1 mile & reporting their time twice a week along with 1 individual practice session at home. Now they have a soccer app with skill lessons that she is required to do a minimum of 30 minutes per week also. I personally think it's a bit much for a 8 year old but honestly, it gives her something to do, keeps her active & will hopefully have her in great condition once she is able to step back on the soccer field with her team:
