Life Lately

As soon as Halloween ended, we headed straight into fall & I am trying to enjoy November before Christmas comes but I have a feeling it is sneaking up on me. We kicked off the month with a day trip with a few of my girlfriends:

I have been to Canton but not since the girls were born so I was so excited when my girlfriends decided to join me:

We had the best time shopping! Maybe a little too much fun since we all came home with so many goodies :)

While we were shopping, my mother in law went to visit the girls at school:

And last weekend, we wrapped up a few of our fall activities. Sophie had her final soccer game:

Afterwards we headed to her final ffl game to cheer:

I wore one of my new purchases from Canton to show my game day spirit & Jamie wore hers also:

On Sunday, we had our end of the season party for Sophie's soccer team:

We really lucked out to have such a great group of families & girls:

And the girls are lucky to have a dad who enjoys coaching them:

While those 2 activities are slowing down, Sophie had another one pick up - Girl Scouts:

I was so excited that our friend decided to start a troop for kinder girls at our school. Sadie loved the 2 years she was a Daisy & I am so glad Sophie has the chance to follow in her foot steps:

They had their first meeting last week & Sophie loved it!

Moving on to a few random pictures, I found this sweet picture of the girls on Halloween morning:

Sophie was excited when she earned an reward in her class. She got to pick a friend to eat with one day at school:

We had book fair this week & the girls always have fun shopping for books:

And last but definitely not least, we were a house divided last week when my little bitty alma mater played Bryan's school:

I honestly never thought in my life time would we see my little Christian school play a power house like The University of Texas. It was the women's basketball teams & we had every intention of driving to Austin & taking the girls to the game, but of course our plans changed & we couldn't make it so we cooked dinner & watched the games at home. The girls had so much fun watching & cheering for both of us:

Sadie came downstairs wearing her Longhorn jersey so I went & got my old LCU cheerleading uniform for Sophie to wear. It was hilarious because it swallowed her! In the end, we lost but the difference was less than 10 points, so I thought that was pretty good! At least the girls had the opportunity to learn more about LCU since they have been brainwashed with anything & everything burnt orange :)
