Since the moment we got home from Grand Cayman, we have been busy getting ready for school but also enjoying our last days of summer! Sadie's basketball team had their last game of the summer season:
They have played 5 seasons together but have decided to take a break so they can try volleyball this fall. Sadie has been asking to play for the past year so I think it will be fun for a change & thankfully someone else volunteered to coach so this guy gets a break:
The girls & I had fun baking this summer. We experimented with home made ice cream, popsicles, smoothies, jello, pudding & something new - home made gummy bears:
Bryan loves gummy bears so we thought we would make some & surprise him:
We threw a pool party for our life group at church. It was a big group & I was so busy entertaining that I didn't take any pictures. Thankfully someone sent me this one of some of the kids up on the grotto:
We also had a few birthday parties before school starts back up. Sadie's BFF had a glow party at Urban Air & we didn't stick around, but apparently they had an awesome time:
We dropped her off & then went on a dinner date with Sophie. I forgot while we were at dinner she asked to take a picture of us:
She is turning into quite the picture taker!
When we went to pick Sadie up, they were having so much fun that Sophie snuck in there & we ended up staying for another hour after the party was over:
She is so tall for her age she looks like she fits in!
The next day Sadie got invited to the FC Dallas game for another friend's birthday party:
A few of these girls play soccer together so they love the sport & had a great time at the game:
I'm telling you, we have squeezed all of the fun we can into the last few days!
