The girls got gift cards to Sweet & Sassy for their birthday & I realize that was almost 9 months ago, but we finally used them! I kept wanting to save them for a special occasion & figured the first day of kindergarten/back to school would be perfect! First of all, they needed haircuts & second, I knew they would have fun getting pampered. So, we waited until the day of Meet the Teacher so they would be all dolled up before they went to school that night.
First up, face masks:
And if their hair looks a little crazy, it's because we just took out their braids from vacation:
They relaxed & wore their masks while they got their pedicure:
Sadie got a zebra print on her big toe nails & Sophie got hearts. Check out the toe ring too!
Next up, manicures:
This time they got butterfly rings:
Then they moved over to get their hair done - wash, cut, blow dry & style:
They both got a headband braid across the top with their hair straightened in the back:
Last but certainly not least, make up:
It might have been a little over the top, but of course the girls loved it! Once they were finally finished, they took turns on the catwalk:
It was definitely more than what we normally do, but that's what gift cards are for, right? They had such a great time & were ready to go back to school in style.
