While Sadie was at camp this week, I strategically planned it where Sophie would be at day camp also. For the past 2 years Sadie went to Sky Ranch, Launch Camp & this year Sophie was old enough to go:
Since we dropped Sadie off on Sunday & Sophie on Monday, I updated my car to have her name so she was so excited when she woke up Monday morning & saw it:
As soon as we got there, she was excited to see a few friends:
Her camp was here in Frisco & she went from 9:00 - 4:00 every day so I had an entire week to myself! Let me tell you how much I got done every day :) I guess that was a preview for what's to come in the fall when they both go back to school. It really is an awesome program & they take pictures all week also so even though we got to see her every night & hear about camp, it was still fun to see pictures of her in action:
Her cabin was Lil Sal & her counselors were Kat & Kaci. She had a great time also! And she was so excited to be in Lil Sal because that's the tent Sadie was in at Launch Camp also:
On Friday, we went early to watch their closing ceremony. Her cabin did a great job with their team cheer & they recited their bible verse with hand motions for everyone:
Afterwards we met her counselors & she got a camper award also - the Smoothie Award:
She had an awesome time at camp also! She loved seeing friends & getting to go to her first real camp all day by herself:
I think she is conflicted if she wants to go back to Launch Camp one more year or if she is ready to go to overnight camp with her sister. If you ask me, I personally think I'm ready for her to stay home one more year but I think Bryan is ready to send her off. We'll see next summer!
