While Sadie was at camp last week, I planned a special night for Sophie. We signed her up to cheer for FFL football this fall. FFL is the Frisco Football League & it starts for kindergartners. The boys can play flag football & the girls cheer for them. It is a very serious organization & it makes me so glad I do not have a boy! I can't believe I even got wrapped up with cheer! It is definitely not Sadie's thing but Sophie is so excited! My friend decided to coach her squad & we recruited a bunch of friends so I think it will be a fun experience. Technically it doesn't start until August, but they drafted teams earlier this summer so we decided to have a meet & greet for all of the girls & their moms:
Jamie asked if I would host a pool party at our house & it worked out perfectly since Sadie was at camp. We had dinner, the girls swam & the moms visited. Coach Jamie even had a surprise for the girls - Bahama Bucks for dessert!
Sophie was the perfect little hostess. She really shines when her sister isn't around:
I call this group the fab four. They all have played soccer together & now they are all cheering together:
It is definitely a whole new world for me but I think it will be fun. Sophie is so excited! I think it will be a fun experience come fall with this group of girls:
