Sophie's Pre-School Graduation Party

One of the biggest differences in Sadie's graduation & Sophie's, is that Sophie knew what to expect & she knew what she wanted. I don't think she exactly remembers Sadie's, but we have talked about it & she has seen pictures so she has been planning her own graduation party for months now! She decided that she wanted a pool party & she planned the entire menu. She wanted pigs in a blanket, macaroni & cheese, chips & queso with fruit. Ha!

Might not have been the healthiest, but it was easy & she loved it!

She even told me specifically she wanted water, tea & fruit punch. But I surprised her with dessert:

I did cake balls for Sadie so of course I did the same for Sophie & didn't they come out so cute?!

Look at all those cute little graduation caps & school supplies.

Before the party even began, she wanted to open gifts. When I graduated kindergarten, I got my first charm bracelet & I still wear it this day. So of course we did the same for Sadie & Sophie has been talking about it since then. She just knew she was going to get her first bracelet when she graduated too:

We all gave her a charm to start her bracelet & of course one of her favorites was probably the BFF broken heart charms that Sadie gave her. Now they both have one on their bracelets:

I apologize she is wearing her bathing suit in all of her pictures but she was so excited to swim she changed into her suit as soon as she got home. So after presents, the kids ran straight for the pool:

We swam, we visited, we ate & we celebrated. It was the perfect night:

Everyone was having such a good time & my sweet hubby actually did a few chores around the backyard while we had company. I couldn't help but document that because only Bryan would be dressed up in leather flip flops, khaki shorts & a long sleeve button up shirt while he is doing yard work around the pool in the backyard:

We really missed having my parents there but we were so fortunate to have everyone else celebrate with us. Seriously, she could not have been happier - about graduating or planning her own party! This little diva is officially ready for kindergarten:
