Last weekend we were excited for Sadie's first soccer tournament. She has played a lot of soccer games in her little life time, but never a weekend tournament. The weather was perfect on Friday when they had their first game:
Unfortunately, they didn't win but they played great! We left the game excited for the rest of the weekend. They had 2 games scheduled on Saturday & then the semi finals & championship game was scheduled for Sunday. Of course none of those happened because it FLOODED on Saturday. I mean literally we got so much rain in so little time that they had to cancel the rest of the tournament. Boo! At least they got 1 game in. And they got sunglasses from the tournament hosts so at least they looked good after their game:
To my surprise, one of the families on our team is friends with the coach for the other team & they just happened to take some awesome pictures of the game. Check out these awesome shots of our girl in action:
Aren't those great?! I love to take pictures but my phone doesn't take anything remotely that good. Next up, futsal. We have never played before but her coach wants us to play indoor futsal this summer to work on their technical skills. We'll see how it goes!
