Boy do I have pictures to share! I don't even know if anyone likes to look at my random photo dumps but here we go!
First up, our anniversary last week. Remember - 15 years?! It fell on a Wednesday & our schedules are so busy with the girls that we knew we wouldn't really have time to celebrate that night or over the weekend so Bryan planned a day away for us last Wednesday while Sadie was at school. He surprised me with long stem roses, 14 red & 1 pink for the 15th year:
First up, we headed to the spa for a couple's massage:
It was perfect. We literally had the spa to ourselves so we enjoyed a quiet morning away. And I couldn't help but laugh because they had snacks & it looked like they walked straight into our pantry because we couldn't stop snacking on their yummy treats - fruit snacks, peanut butter pretzels and m&m's? It looked like a children's party:
I'm used to seeing nuts & dried fruit. After the spa, we headed to a late lunch/early dinner where again, we had the restaurant to ourselves. They even surprised us with a special dessert. The night before, I asked the girls if they wanted to help me surprise Bryan with a fancy dinner so I let them set the table with our china:
Sadie rolled all of the cloth napkins & Sophie picked out the candles. They were so proud! After dinner we watched the video from our wedding & it has become an annual tradition we love doing with the girls:
Ok, enough about that. No one really cares about our anniversary like I do! While we were celebrating, Sophie spent the day with Sherry & looks like she got treated to Chick Fil A:
Speaking of Sophie, she had fun at a play date with her girlfriends from dance:
She has finally learned how to do the monkey bars by herself:
I caught her & Bennett trying to run away on the golf cart the other day. They said they were going to drive to Florida so they could go to Disney World:
They studied The Very Hungry Caterpillar at school:
Gotta love silly faces! She had her very last swimming lesson at Mrs. Pat's pool last week:
She has been swimming here for years but since she is starting kindergarten next year, she probably won't take them anymore. And for the past year, they created a special class for KJ & Gavin to swim with Mrs. Debbie:
She has been great with them. They have fun while I get to sit there & visit with the moms :) Since it was their last lesson, we treated them to lunch afterwards:
Moving on to Sadie, she has been working on her derby car:
Their derby car race is next week! Their 1st grade class at school planted a garden:
I love it when her teacher shares pictures from school!
She has been busy with soccer, when it's not raining of course:
And basketball. They played an awesome game last week - it was so good that we decided to surprise the girls to take them for ice cream afterwards:
We just love all of the families we play sports with! The parents, grandparents & the siblings:
She still does Girl Scouts. They had a meeting last week that ended with an Easter Egg hunt:
Besides all of the rain we have had, the weather has finally started warming up. In fact, it hit 90 degrees one afternoon so I surprised the girls after school & we went & got Bahama Bucks:
On our free Friday last weekend, we met friends at the new movie theater in town:
We saw Dumbo & I think all of the kids liked it. I personally liked the heated seats that reclined!
Last but definitely not least, a birthday party. We go to birthday parties all the time & I usually don't take pictures anymore but this one was special but it was Hayden's & it was super girlie & super fun:
They got to pick dresses to wear, they got their hair braided, make up done & nails painted:
They had fun dancing, dressing up & then they had a fashion show! But what is a party without pizza & cupcakes:
Such a fun party! So glad these girls had fun celebrating Hayden:
