We have definitely moved passed spring break & luckily the weather has cooperated! It has been awesome weather & we are starting to enjoy more time outside, especially with the extra sun & longer days :) We started the week off late by going to Carter & Caden's soccer game:
It was their last home game of the season & it was senior night, plus we thought the girls would have fun watching them since they play soccer also. We were right - they had a blast getting to watch them & see the rest of our family:
Speaking of soccer, Sadie & her friends got to celebrate Coach Casey's birthday at practice this week:
There's nothing like eating a cupcake after you finish a 2 hour practice full of sprints & planking for these girls:
After dance this week, Sophie went home with Hayden for a play date with their dance friends & it appears they had a great time:
Speaking of Sophie, they practiced M&M math at school. Looks like candy is a good encouragement for school work:
Yesterday it was Texas day. Everyone else may have dressed up like cowboys & cowgirls, but in our house Texas day has a different meaning:
Isn't she a cute little longhorn?! They had fun dressing up, learning about Texas & participating in Texas games:
But her favorite part of the day might have been getting to carpool with her buddies KJ & Gavin:
While they were celebrating Texas, I was celebrating my birthday with my girlfriends! We went to brunch & then we got pedicures:
It was all of our first pedicures of the season! Thank goodness it is finally warm enough outside to wear sandals again :)
Afterwards they surprised me & took me to the Cookie Rack, which is a new dessert place in town & their cookies were amazing! Like melt in your mouth they were so good:
They bought me a 4 pack so I could take them home & share them with the girls. It was so hard to choose flavors but I chose birthday cake, s'mores, cookie dough & salted caramel pretzel:
The girls were so excited when they came home from school & saw them:
It was such a fun day & I am so grateful for my girlfriends:
They know me well!
