Christmas morning was extra special this year because I think it was the first time the girls woke up & celebrated Santa with their cousins. Kason & Zoe woke up first, but Sadie & Sophie weren't far behind:
Santa definitely stopped by:
Sophie has been asking for her own American Girl doll for years now & she finally got one! Sadie got hers when she turned 5 also :) Sadie didn't have a specific item from Santa that she had been asking for besides small things she already got for her birthday. So, he brought her a pogo stick! She loves being outside & is pretty active, so I think this will be a great gift for her. Plus, it is electric & lights up & talks to you while you jump. They also got a combo gift because they have both been asking for the American Girl Kitchen. Perfect timing since Sophie finally got a doll! Both girls were thrilled with all of their gifts:
And everyone loved their stocking surprises also:
After Santa, we let the kids open the rest of their gifts since the adults had opened most of theirs the night before:
These 2 cuties bought presents for each other & they claimed their gifts to each other were their very favorite. I mean who doesn't like slime & gum balls?!
After presents, we had Christmas brunch & then my parents had to head home. The Clayton Crew packed up next so they could celebrate with Daniel's family so eventually we headed over to Bryan's parents' house to celebrate with them:
We had an awesome Christmas dinner & opened more gifts. We are all way too spoiled & got more than we need but it sure is fun passing out gifts to everyone! Apparently it was so much fun Sadie couldn't hang anymore:
It was a busy couple of days but we were so fortunate to stay home & still celebrate with most of our family. Without a doubt, holidays get more fun every year as the girls get older but I love that's it's still so magical.
