I know I have been blogging a lot, but it was a busy weekend! To end it, our church had their annual Fall Festival Sunday night. The sun finally came out & Sophie actually had a soccer game! We went straight from there to the festival so the girls didn't wear costumes this year, but they still had fun eating & playing games. As soon as we got there, we hit up some of the bigger items outside while it was still warm. Sophie went straight to the inflatable slide:
While Sadie went to the rock climbing wall:
She is so brave! I can't tell you how many kids said no way because they said it was too high & scary. This is the best she has ever done - she even made it the very top this year!
They raced each other on the obstacle course:
Then Sadie tried the zorb ball:
Sophie wasn't interested in that so we headed inside to find the carnival games:
Once we conquered those, we headed to the preschool games where they were so excited to get their hair colored & tattoos:
Sadie went for blue hair while Sophie got a rainbow ponytail! One of Sadie's favorite parts of the night was when she met up with friends & they did sumo bopping together:
We might have already eaten a ton of candy & cotton candy, but we made them stop for dinner:
before heading back out for snow cones & bounce houses:
Did I mention that Sophie got her face painted?! She is obsessed with face painting:
Eventually I had to head inside to volunteer for a while so Bryan spent the rest of the evening outside with the girls & they tried everything one more time. They loved the bouncing swing & Sadie even did a couple of crazy flips. Even a double flip I hear!
It was such a fun night & I am so glad our church does it every year. We are officially on the countdown for Halloween!
