Very Merry Early Christmas

Last weekend when we went to Austin for the Longhorn game, my parents surprised the girls with an early Christmas present:

A trip to Disney World!!!! We started talking & planning this trip last Thanksgiving so it's been a big secret for over a year. My mom asked if we would want to take a big family trip in December instead of doing a bunch of presents & we were sold! The girls have more than they need & we would rather travel any day :) Natalie's family found out sooner, but our girls literally found out basically the day before:

My mom had the cutest tickets made personalized for everyone, with a luggage tag:

That's why it was such a quick trip to Austin - we had to get home & pack! I literally waited to do everything at the last minute because it was easier once they knew. The next morning we headed straight to the airport:

Then we rode the Magical Express Bus to our resort:

We stayed at the Caribbean Beach Club & I was pleasantly surprised! We had a great location, close to the shuttle & close to our family. I think I personally liked it because they played Caribbean music the whole time & their Christmas tree & decorations were made of sea shells & fish:

My parents flew with Max so we met up with them at the hotel & then we met up with Natalie's family for dinner when they got in. We surprised the kids the first night with dinner at:

It was late, the kids had way too much energy, but they loved it:

They were so excited to be there & to finally be together again! 

Our Disney planner made notes in the reservation that both of our girls had December birthdays so they surprised them with birthday cupcakes:

We got home late that first night but I got us settled in & ready for our week of fun:

Let me warn you now that I will be posting every day this week for every day we were there & there will be a lot of pictures. I mean A LOT! I can't help it you guys - we had so much fun! Disney is always magical, but going at Christmas?! It was perfect. Thank you Mimi & Doc for such a wonderful trip!
