Family Divided

On Friday morning, we woke up & drove to Austin for game day. We have taken the girls to a Longhorn game in Austin every year since they were born, so it's a fun tradition. Our biggest obstacle these days is soccer since they usually have games on Saturday. But the holiday game was the perfect solution, especially since UT was playing Texas Tech since my sister's family is Red Raider fans. The girls were equally excited to go to the game & see their cousins:

Bryan found tickets in the end zone for $25. We have never sat down there before but it was the perfect place for children. They had plenty of room to run around, cheer, play & see Bevo up close:

We also met up with Bryan's friend Kirti & his family. Somehow I didn't get a picture of them except for this one:

That's Kelly & she was a good sport letting Sophie play Beauty Shop most of the night! To be honest, all of the kids were a little wild but I think they were just so excited to see each other since it had been a while:

We had a fun time even though the Longhorns choked at the end. Of course. At least the girls got to cheer for their Longhorns & spend some extra time with their cousins, even if they are Red Raider fans:
