Magic Kingdom, Day 1

Who is ready to share in our Disney adventure?! We had a 5 day park hopper but we spent our first day at Magic Kingdom:

As soon as we walked in I couldn't help but notice all of the beautiful Christmas decorations. Poinsettia's, garland, wreaths & a beautiful Christmas tree all when you walk down Main Street:

We got there right when the park opened & headed straight to the Beast's Castle for breakfast at Be Our Guest:

We had eaten here for dinner before so I enjoyed trying a different meal. And my family loves breakfast so it did not disappoint:

After breakfast we headed straight to the castle for family pictures:

My sister got pictures of her family also but I don't want to post a lot of her pictures since she has her own blog, so you will have to check out her website to see them. But I do want to share pictures of my parents, especially the 2nd one:

They were doing their impersonation of Sophie - it was too funny!

And tradition continues for this family by riding the carousel first:

We rode a few rides in Fantasyland & then we headed to Tomorrowland because we had fast passes for Space Mountain:

I just love that they add the pictures from the ride to your photo pass! The kids thought that was pretty neat. We basically spent the whole day riding rides & conquering most of the park without stopping to see many characters:

We did a pretty good job switching up riding companions throughout the week, but it was pretty obvious that Sadie & Kason always wanted to be together because they were thrill seekers while Zoe & Sophie stuck together:

Everyone loved Mad Tea Party:

and the Jungle Cruise:

We went back to the castle when it got dark to watch a quick Frozen show where they lit the castle & turned it into an Ice Castle with a fireworks show:

It was beautiful & the girls really loved it:

After that, my Mom & sister took the little ones for dessert & then headed back to the hotel:

while the rest of us helped close the park by trying a few more rides that we couldn't do with the littles. Technically they could do Buzz Light Year but it had a long wait so we did it without them:

And that was day 1! We basically opened the park at breakfast & closed it down with the big kids. It was a long day but a lot of fun.
