Pre-Halloween Festivities

It's been a fun month leading up to Halloween & quite honestly, I can't believe it's already come & gone! The girls & I had a countdown calendar that they loved checking first thing every morning. Apparently we had a ghost in the house that left them little presents & notes every day :) My mom also gave them a few surprises. She bought this cling on skeleton that we enjoyed looking at every day:

She also gave them some spooky ice cubes that had gummy eye balls inside:

I put them in their milk one night at dinner & it was hilarious when they finally noticed them!

The girls have been asking to decorate outside since some of our neighbors go all out, so Bryan took them shopping & Sophie flipped over this ghost:

She was so proud of it every single day & would run outside to turn it on. We also bought a few more things that you will probably notice in our Halloween pictures.

The night before Halloween we carved our pumpkin. We have several pumpkins on the front porch, but Sadie was so excited to carve her white pumpkin:

She even came up with the design for his face:

The morning of Halloween, Sophie had a Fall Festival at school & luckily I got to attend. They started outside with a petting zoo, but Sophie wouldn't even go inside. She simply walked around outside while her friends stayed inside the fence with the animals:

And then we headed inside for carnival games:

It's so fun seeing her in action with her little friends:

It was a fun morning!
