Yesterday was finally Sophie's first day of school! She has been patiently waiting since Sadie started 2 weeks ago. And she has been so excited to finally be on the Academy side which is pre-school & not a mother's day out program. We tried to make her morning special but she slept in & didn't wake up until after Sadie was gone:
Bryan went & got her donuts & strawberry milk. I realized later that I should have made her put some pajamas on! She is really into sleeping in her panties right now. Hopefully that will change once it cools off this fall.
We took the obligatory first day pictures with her sign:
It was kind of sad taking all of her pictures without Sadie! But she was excited & knew exactly what to do:
As soon as we got there she saw Hayden so they walked in together:
She had an awesome day & loved seeing her school friends again. Plus she talked about Mrs. Kyle all night so she must be excited about her new teacher as well. I just can't believe my youngest is officially in pre-school & that much closer to joining her big sister at FISD:
