I had a special date with Sadie today at the Mother's Day Tea. Her school invited all of the moms to stay for brunch when we dropped the kids off. Sadie was so excited she has been talking about it all week & she asked if she could wear a dress :)
When we got there, we dropped the kids off in their classroom & then headed to the auditorium:
All of the tables were set up by class & we had assigned seats:
They made us home made cards & inside she drew a family portrait of the 4 of us. It was one of the first things I have really seen her draw! She mostly writes her name & likes to color. They also had a small vase of flowers that was decorated with flowers made out of their fingerprints. It might have been my favorite!
After the moms visited for a while, the students finally came to join us & they brought another home made flower:
We had a great morning getting to spend time with some of Sadie's classmates & their moms:
