Bryan didn't have to work on Friday but we weren't scheduled to fly home until that night so Friday was actually very relaxing! We all slept in that morning & then Bryan & I took turns going to the gym while one of us stayed with the girls:
They loved being lazy too & watching cartoons. And they thought it was fun to mess with all of the gadgets in the room, mostly opening & closing the black out shades. Our bathroom was phenomenal. It had a huge, jetted tub with a tv overlooking the Cosmo & part of the strip. The girls have never been in a jetted tub so I surprised them & told them we were taking baths, but when they got in there I surprised them with the jets & turned the tv on. Sadie loved it! She thought she was swimming in a hot tub & I let her make a mess since it wasn't out house :) Sophie was scared, like usual. She didn't like all the bubbles. Of course I took a picture & it is hilarious but probably not suitable for the internet!
Once we finally packed & checked out of our room, it was close to lunchtime. There was one more burger joint, Holsteins Shakes & Buns inside the Cosmo that Bryan wanted to try. On our walk over, we ran into Hello Kitty:
I gave in & got out $1 since we would head to the airport soon. Obviously I am a cheapie because she pointed out that she expects $5. Sorry, Sadie was already standing there & I had already gotten the picture.
Inside the casino, we found this random high heel that the girls thought was hilarious & wanted to take their picture sitting in it:
Finally, lunch. I was so excited when I saw the menu. They had an appetizer that was buffalo chicken wing dip served with warm tortilla chips. I actually make this dip & it is one of Bryan's favorites so I had to check it out & it was ok, but honestly, I think mine is better! Dessert was awesome. The girls split a kids meal & it came with a kids ice cream sundae but we asked for them to split it in 2 bowls. They did & I don't think they split it because they were the biggest kids sundaes I have ever seen but my girls were not complaining:
I let Bryan choose the milkshake & he chose Campfire S'mores:
I will confess that I gained more in 3 days in Vegas than I did in 7 days in Jamaica!
We only had a few hours left to kill before we had to head to the airport so we walked to Paris so the girls could see the Eiffel Tower. While we were there, we saw a University marching band & cheerleaders. It was the craziest thing - they marched down the street playing music & then they stopped so the cheerleaders could perform. The girls loved it! Only in Vegas would something random like that happen :) Apparently it was the start of March Madness so several basketball teams were in town.
Our last stop was at the Bellagio. The girls hadn't seen the dancing waters during the day so we let them run around outside & play while we waited for them & watched them. On our way back to our hotel, Bryan must have snapped this picture because I found it on his phone:
I love it! It doesn't sum up our entire trip, but it's definitely a sweet memory. We walked a lot & I had brought the double stroller but Sadie doesn't really like it anymore. She prefers to walk like everyone else. And I did make her hold my hand a lot since it is so busy there. And that Elsa hat?! She literally wore it the entire time! She even slept in it! Too bad she hasn't worn it since we've been home! Finally, she has learned to love window shopping just like her mom :) That's honestly one of my favorite things about Vegas - just walking the strip, through the hotels, looking at all of the fancy stores & people watching.
Thanks again for letting us tag along Bryan! I think the girls enjoyed their first spring break together!
