Beaches Kids Camp & Sesame Street

Besides the water park, one of the other exciting amenities Beaches offers kids are their daycare/camps. They have a whole building that is just used for children & it was open every day from 9 am to 9 pm. As soon as we got there, they gave us a schedule with activities planned for every single day. We thought the girls would love this because they are pretty social. I had envisioned them wanting to go to camp every day while Bryan & I had a little free time. Didn't quite work out like that. most of their activities did not revolve around the water & our little fish wanted to spend the entire day in the pool so we took them a few times at night.

One night they had a movie & popcorn night from 7:30 - 9:00, so we dropped off Sadie with the big kids while Sophie went back to the room & went to bed. Sorry Sophie! Sadie thought it was awesome because they watched Minions & she had never seen that:

One afternoon I was back at the room with Sophie while she napped & they asked Sadie if she wanted to be in the fashion show:

Really wished I hadn't missed that! Apparently she got shy but I got to see it because Bryan taped it.

Two nights we dropped them off at night so Bryan & I could go get dinner or dessert in peace :) They really liked going at night. They would rather eat dinner & snacks with their friends while they play instead of sitting at a nice dinner with us for an hour or so!

The other thing Beaches is known for is:

Sesame Street! To be honest, the girls haven't really watched Sesame Street but they knew who some of the characters were. And who doesn't love Sesame Street?! They had a live show every night from 7:00 - 7:30 & Sadie was usually front & center sitting with her friends & loving every minute:

Sophie was usually in the audience a few rows back with us. She would sing & dance but didn't want to get too close to the characters!

Afterwards, they had a kids dance party from 7:30 - 8:00 every night. The dj would play music & the kids got to go on stage & dance their little hearts out:

You can't see Sophie in this picture but she was up there too! We got some great videos of the 2 of them dancing the night away with their friends :) I say friends because when you stay there all week, you start to meet people. And Sadie became friends with everyone, especially the older kids:

One night before the show, they even surprised the kids with a bounce house:

We even saw the characters all week long. They would just show up randomly around the resort:

I'm telling you between the water park, unlimited supply of smoothies & ice cream cones, kids camp & Sesame Street - this place is designed for children & our girls loved it!
