Christmas Night 2015

After our lazy Christmas morning at home, we eventually packed our bags, got ready & headed to Bryan's parents house for Christmas night. As soon as we got there they had sugar cookies cut, baked & ready for the girls to decorate:

Sherry sent us home with leftovers so I can't tell you how many of those I ate this week!

Next we had Christmas dinner. Sherry made Italian, which my family loves & it was delicious! Finally, we got to open presents one last time. The girls got more goodies & loved every second of opening presents:

That Bitty Baby Carrier is actually Sophie's, but Sadie decided to wear it & she had it on for most of the night. Sadie finally got her Sleeping Beauty dress:

She has been asking for it for months. We tried to get it at Disney World, but the entire resorts was sold out of her size. Now she has most of the collection & she wears them quite frequently, so I think the investment in princess dresses has been worth it. And Sophie has recently discovered them & is asking to wear them too! Speaking of Sophie, the picture above cracks me up because I asked to take a picture of Sadie & she wanted to pose in front of the tree & then Sophie ran over saying cheese & started posing too!

When the girls finished opening their presents, we let them help open ours:

Do you notice a theme with our gifts? Bryan & I got "hooked" for the holidays!

College football isn't it over for this season & we are already ready for next season!

Finally, the girls helped Grammy & Grandpa with their gifts:

After presents, I cleaned up while Sadie played games with her grandparents. They got 2 new ones from them & they played both, multiple times:

We enjoyed spending the night with them so we could spend some extra time with them the next day. Bryan wanted to eat lunch at Joe T. Garcia's so we ended our Christmas festivities with Mexican food :) Then Bryan & I went shopping while the girls spent the afternoon with Grammy & Grandpa.

It truly was a wonderful holiday season & I cannot believe how blessed we are. The girls had an amazing birthday party & were spoiled with lots of fun presents only to be followed by Christmas. We have gotten more than we ever need but we appreciate all of it. But most of all, we appreciate the extra time we got to spend with each other. The girls with their dad, all 4 of us as a family & with our extended families. We love you all!
