Breakfast with Santa & Friends 2015

The past couple of years we have gone to see Santa at our church but this year they didn't have him, so I tried to find another venue. I have always heard about the breakfast that the city puts on, but we had never tried it so I figured this year would be a good year. Personally, I would rather Santa be an experience than just standing in line at the mall.
I didn't tell the girls about it so Sadie was surprised when she found the tickets in their advent calendar that morning:

As soon as we got there, Sadie wrote a letter to Santa telling him what she wanted & than she mailed it:

Before we even walked in, we saw Frosty the Snowman & Rudolph. For some reason, Sadie is obsessed with Rudolph this year so she ran right to him & wanted her picture:

Sophie acted like she did at Disney - she was really excited from afar & she waved to them, but when we tried to get her to go up to them by herself, she wasn't so sure any more, so we went with a family photo instead:

Before we walked in for breakfast, we hit up the craft table. The girls got to make door hangers, snow globes & color their own holiday bags:

As soon as we went inside, we visited with Santa. I thought it would be best if we saw him before we eat since they tend to be messy with their food :) Sadie went right up to Santa, sat in his lap & started telling him what she wanted:

Sophie acted like she did earlier & didn't really want to see him up close, but we made her :) She was skeptical at first, but she never really cried:

I was quite impressed! I honestly expected there to be tears this year!

After we visited with Santa, we found our table & ate breakfast. Every seat had a placemat that you got to take home so Sadie loved that:

The table decorations were cute:

and the food was delicious:

While we were eating, Frosty & Rudolph came back in to join us & they played Christmas music so the kids could dance with them. It shouldn't come as a surprise that Sadie was the first one out there busting a move with Rudolph! I think Bryan took a video but I didn't really get any pictures.

It was such a fun morning! The food was good, the event was close to the house, fairly inexpensive & best of all, wasn't crowded. We will definitely make this a new family tradition!
