Sadie's last soccer game for the fall season was supposed to be last Saturday but since we had a lot of rain, they had a make up game on Sunday & we have another one this weekend. But their team party was last weekend. We went to one of the girl's house & they had snacks. They were hungry after their game:
They also played in the game room & it was cute watching all of the younger siblings running around playing since they are all the same age also. Their coaches also gave a end of the year speech & passed out trophies to each of the girls. They gave every girl a nickname so he talked about each of them as they passed the trophies out:
Sadie's nickname was the Team Enforcer because she just went out there & dominated the field. She was especially forceful in one particular game when our coach got in a fight with the other team's coach :( Seriously, this girl is The Enforcer?!
I was a little hesitant for her to play soccer because Bryan & I know nothing about the sport, but we lucked out & she got on a great team with great coaches. They did a good job leading them & she really enjoyed learning the sport & playing with her friends. Spring registration has already started & Sadie has already committed to playing again. Now we just hope her coach & the rest of the teammates come back to join her!
