Not quite, but I'm definitely ready! I have to remember to wait & enjoy Thanksgiving otherwise I would go straight from Halloween to Christmas :) We did have out exterior Christmas lights installed last week but haven't turned them on yet. But it is tempting! They have already hung probably half of the lights in our neighborhood, but nobody turns them on until Thanksgiving. Sadie got really excited when she came home & saw them - she asked if we could put up our Christmas tree inside!
Yesterday I planned a trip to the Dallas Galleria while the girls were at school & I may have loaded up the car with Christmas cd's:
I keep checking the Christmas station but they haven't switched yet. But I feel like every store in town is already playing Christmas music & is decorated. Except for the big tree in the Galleria:
I sat there while I was eating lunch & watched them put it together. I have no idea how long it takes, but guess how many people it takes:
And if you are wondering where all of the garland/tree branches are, they are down below & already decorated. Apparently they hang one piece at a time:
Don't worry, there is another team of people committed only to fluffing every single one of those pieces:
Wish they would come hang & fluff my trees! I'm sure some of you are wondering why I am blogging about this & honestly, I don't know but it was really interesting watching them.
I may have done some Christmas shopping while I was down there, especially at one store in particular:
This is the same place where the girls are having their birthday party in a few weeks & I am so excited! I drove down there yesterday to meet the manager & work out the details for the event. I was even more excited when I walked in & saw it decorated also:
Have you figured it out yet? Need a few more clues:
I am really excited to have their combo birthday party this year & it is the first time it will be a girl only party for moms & their daughters. Guess Bryan can come but he will be the only guy there :)
